Project: Start-Up Takes to the Airwaves
Category: Andy Martin

I am sure you can agree with me that there is not much to be excited about on a Monday morning at 6:30 a.m. -- unless that particular moment in time finds you boarding a plane bound for a tropical destination. While my Monday did not start with high hopes of taking the next scheduled flight to paradise, I woke with a great deal of enthusiasm because I had the opportunity to talk about our 10th anniversary and Project: Start-Up on WAKA which is Montgomery’s local CBS affiliate television station.

I appreciate WAKA’s invitation for me to share our good news. Morning anchor David Hagood asked some thoughtful questions which I hope gave the station’s viewers some insight into Square Root Interactive and Project: Start-Up. Plus, he suggested we try to schedule a follow-up interview with the business owner who receives the Web site.

Because of our small business roots, it is really exciting for me to give back to an up-and-coming business based in the River Region.

As mentioned in previous blogs, we will award a complete Web site valued at up to $10,000 to a start-up company. Stay tuned for more announcements as Square Root receives additional media coverage and awards the Web site.

Help us spread the word! If you know of a start-up business that could use a new Web site send them this link for more information:
