4D Ultrasound

Wow, what an experience! Danny and I went for a 4D ultrasound at 29 weeks, and it was amazing! It gave me chills and absolute joy to be able to see the features, movements and expressions of Parker. Words cannot describe how it felt to see him in the flesh as our little boy. He was certainly active. I don't think his arms and legs stopped moving the entire duration of the ultrasound. Everything checked out great and his weight was a little over 3 ½ pounds.
We watched the video again that evening and went through it frame by frame. We counted his fingers and toes, tried to guess who he looks like and what color of eyes we think he might have. He is so cute because I know he looks like his dad, and the only thing he will probably get from me is “tiny, devilish eyes” and fat cheeks! I am so anxious for him to arrive so I can actually hold him!
It was a special experience and I would advise anyone to take advantage of the 4D ultrasound. It really intensifies that bond between mother and baby, and gives the father a chance to see and know him as well.
