Calendar event long description bug in CMS400 7.53 sp2

I was working on a calendar problem for a client who we recently upgraded to CMS400 7.53 sp2. The client was trying to change the long description for an event. The record would save but the changes to the long description would not. I added a new event with a long description. It saved the event, but not the long description. I checked the database, and could see my old long description entries, but none of my new entries were displaying.
Turns out that Ektron has added a drop down (multi-select box) for the "Long Description" field on the Calendar Properties screen. There are now three choices: None, Text Only, and Rich Text. It seems the sites we upgraded are being set to "Text Only”, which does not work in this version. If you change the setting to "Rich Text" then changes to the Long Description will update in the DB.
Ektron confirms this is a bug and that it will be fixed in a future release (7.6)
